Manuel "Manny" De la Rosa brings a wealth of experience to the City of Nederland, Texas, drawing on a distinguished municipal career spanning approximately 35 years. His journey in public service began in 1986 as a police dispatcher, and he has since served in vital roles including Public Works Director, City Administrator, and City Manager for various Texas communities such as Salado, San Benito, and Jonestown.

During the selection process, Manuel stood out for his technical expertise and his commitment to transparent leadership. He has identified infrastructure and resident communication as his top priorities, aiming to tackle long-term projects while ensuring the community remains well-informed and engaged.
