Located in southeast Dallas County just minutes from downtown Dallas, Balch Springs is a growing and diverse community of more than 28,500 residents with direct access to Interstate 20, Interstate 635, and U.S. Highway 175.
The next Chief of Police will lead a department with 61 funded positions, including administrative staff, and will have an opportunity to shape the department’s continued growth while strengthening its focus on professionalism, accountability, employee development, community engagement, and public safety.
Balch Springs is seeking an experienced law enforcement leader who can build strong relationships inside the organization and throughout the community while preparing the department for the future.
