Bridgeport is a Home Rule city operating under the council-manager form of government. The next City Manager will serve as the City’s chief administrative officer, working closely with the Mayor and City Council to translate policy direction into action and lead a full-service municipal organization.

The next City Manager will have an opportunity to help bring the mission of the City of Bridgeport to life by developing the City’s workforce, strengthening service delivery, guiding long-range infrastructure and capital planning, and helping Bridgeport successfully navigate continued growth while preserving the character its residents value.

Bridgeport is seeking an experienced local government leader who communicates openly, builds strong relationships, develops capable teams, and understands the financial and operational demands of a growing, full-service municipality. The successful candidate will be visible and accessible in the community and prepared to work collaboratively with elected officials, employees, residents, businesses, and regional partners.

He is also the Host and Producer of The Clear Voice, a show dedicated to the people and challenges shaping local government. His work blends business development with media-driven recruitment, translating complex organizational cultures into compelling narratives that attract high-quality talent.
